This is my Ghost in the Shell tattoo!
I’ve been wanting to get this done for a few years now, but I needed to work up enough courage to get it. I absolutely love how simple and beautiful it is. I’ve been a huge fan of the Ghost in the Shell series for as long as I can remember. The best part about this homage tattoo is that the shapes on my back can only be seen in the first movie (and its remake, 2.0). So it makes me feel like I’m really paying tribute to the story.

This is my Van Gogh Starry night X NYC tattoo. I’ve always loved the Starry Night painting since i was a freshman in High School and learned about it in art class. I always tried to do similar drawings in class and on my free time. I decided to put the NYC skyline because it’s almost like my personalized view of starry night being that i live in New York, aside from the fact that the NYC skyline is one of the most appealing views in my opinion, especially with the twin towers, as 9/11 is a day that i will never forget, it felt very necessary to include the twin towers in the skyline. This is a picture taken today after finishing the second session, done my Matt Fibikar at Bullseye Tattoo shop in Staten Island, New York. Matt was a pleasure to work with and was very mellow and understanding. We have put about 8 hours of work into it so far. This is my first tattoo, and Matt made me feel very comfortable from the start. I will definitely be going back to Matt in the future for more work. Hope you like it!

No fucking way.
My god… This is the most beautiful thing ever…
